Expressionism – May 2013

Manic episodes steal the show. During the darker times, I let reruns play on repeat. Same plot. Same script. Even the same commercials. The only thing that changes is the characters. Roles reversed, actresses replaced, cast members killed off. Constantly forcing new lines upon them. It greatly differs from what their previous directors drilled into them.
Every time I run a pilot for a new prime time network, they cut it loose.
Must be too honest. It’s probably too real. It’s probably too ugly.
HBO called, so did Showtime. Of course they did. This series is one giant, fucked up party that only stops when the world collides or someone overdoses. My world is constantly crashing, even though death has a few years to wait. Apparently that isn’t enough for the general public’s viewing.
